Aqua Summit 2005

AquaSummit has been at the forefront of delivering successful aquatic professional development in Australia for the past 10 years. But in a decade the industry landscape has changed and so too has the focus of AquaSummit. The 2005 sessions will replicate the various roles within a multi purpose facility. Health, fitness, sport, and aquatic personnel can now all gather at the one event to gain knowledge, skills and attitude appropriate to their role at the facility. The program follows the journey of a client entering and utilising programs within a facility - included are sessions for receptionists, coordinators, pool-lifeguards, personal trainers, aqua instructors, teachers of swimming and water safety and the group fitness instructor. The focus is on information, leadership and motivational styles required when promoting physical activity to specific population groups within the general community.

AquaSummit will be held at Monash University, Clayton Campus.
