New Aquatics Director Appointed
Monash Sport is delighted to be able to announce the appointment of Mr Brett Lavale to the newly created position of Aquatics Director Doug Ellis Swimming Pool, which is located on Monash University’s Clayton Campus.
Brett has a strong background in major leisure facility management and prior to his current role as a Senior Consultant for Stratcorp Consulting, one of Australia leading sports and recreation planning firms, was Centre Manager at some illustrious and high profile aquatics venues such as Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre, Harold Holt Swim Centre and Melton Waves.
As well as a detailed technical and practical understanding of the elements critical to successful aquatic leisure facility operations Brett also brings to the role well developed strategic planning skills, strong connections with industry through his involvement with the Victorian Aquatic Industry Council and Aquacon 2004 as well as a passion for excellence, achieving high standards and a commitment to team development.
Brett takes up his executive level appointment on March 14th 2005 when he will commence leading the development and managing the performance of the Doug Ellis Swimming Pool as well as making a key contribution to the overall performance of Monash Sport through his role on the Service Provider Leadership team. |
