Rugby domination

In the Men’s Rugby 7’s on Tuesday September 30, Monash thrashed Adelaide University to claim a 31-7 victory at Faulkner Park. With the help of two players and one coach from Monash’s South African Campus they were able to claim their second victory of the day. Earlier in the day they defeated Curtin University by another heavy margin, winning 40-5. This year the Monash team hope to play a part in the finals for division 2 and improve on their 2007 AUG result of 7th. So far Monash have won all of their games and are well on their way to overall victory. Today they were victorious in the quarter finals over LaTrobe. Gilbert Sebastian, one of Monash’s South African Rugby representatives, said he was really proud to be a part of TeamMONASH™ this year. “Monash is a great university. It’s a great opportunity to come to Australia to represent Monash.” Good Luck to the team in the semi-finals! GO TeamMONASH™!!!
